Are there more people having trouble login in to websites of Palo Alto.
I pass my PCNSE 7 today, but login in the palo Alto Live community website, no way.
The company I work is parner, but we not owning PA firewall our self, juist managing the PA's of our customors.
I send mail to Palo Alto, but they telling me I have to give a serial number of my Firewall (that I do not have)
Getting frustrated I send my trail license of my VM-300 I used for learning for my exam.
I get a mail back:
Kindly reach out to our eval team at EMEA-EVAL@paloaltonetworks.com regarding your eval VM. Please let us know if you require further assistance.
But I just want access to Live with my own account and not the account I use now (that's the one of my company.
More people having trouble with the adminstration of Palo Alto?

Hi There!
If you would like to create a personal account without a support contract, you can simply create a free Live Community account here : Register for a Live Community account
You can choose the left-hand side option to create a Live Community account which will not require you have a serial number or any contract with us
The right-hand side option will allow you access to the support portal for software and dynamic updates but does require you own a Palo Alto Networks product
hope this helps! 🙂

No Does not,
Says I already have a account. And when I try to login (use three different browsers).
No value found for SAML_SUBJECT when building the assertion from name/value pairs: {SAML_AUTHN_CTX=urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:ac:classes:unspecified, SAML_NAME_FORMAT=urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:unspecified}
You do not have access to this resource or an error occurred during the login process. Please see https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/company/contact-support if you continue to have problems.
HTTP Status 401 - Authentication Failed: Error validating SAML message

And if I report it to your support I get the message that I have to give my licence for my hardware 🙂

Hi @RedLogic-team,
From your description, it looks like you are still logged in with your current account.
In order to register for a Live Community account using an alternate email address, you will need to completely log out of SSO.
If you have not tried this already, please shutdown and restart your browser or go to https://login.paloaltonetworks.com/logout to log out of your current account.
Then, return to Live Community and, without logging in, click on the Register link.
If you still have problems with the registration, please send a message to livehelp@paloaltonetworks.com for additional Live Community registration help.
Thank you!

Nop Not logged in, page ask me for my password and login name. Still getting errors.
I can login to the partner page with my personal account and to the learning part of palo Alto: https://paloaltonetworks.csod.com
But this live page still gives me the error:
HTTP Status 401 - Authentication Failed: Error validating SAML message
type Status report
message Authentication Failed: Error validating SAML message
description This request requires HTTP authentication.
Someting is not working with your single sign on.

Hi
ok, this is a known issue where some accounts that were set up as learning center/partner accounts initially are not automatically granted access to live
would you mind sending an email to livehelp@paloaltonetworks.com with your details and we'll keep you posted when we've been able to address that issue
thanks!

The official reaction of support Palo Alto:
Hi Michael,
We are aware that registered members of our Learning Center and Partner Portals are encountering an error when trying to log in to the Live Community. We are working with our IT team to come up with a resolution, but it may take some time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
You can register for a Live Community account, at any time, with a different email address to participate in discussions and leave comments. You will first have to log out of your current Learning Center account, and then click Register on the Live Community homepage to start the registration process.
Hope it can be fixed soon.
