Error When Adjusting Log Quotas

L3 Networker

Anyone help on this? We can't alter the logdb quota settings (at least on the GUI) on Panorama - we get an error of "management is missing 'storage-partition' " even if we make a tiny change eg. reducing the size of the threat databse to 24% from 25%.

I attempted to make the change from the CLI "set deviceconfig setting management disk-quota traffic xx" - this came back with a CLI error about the "storage-partition" again. The values had NOT changed in the CLI "sho system logdb-quota" - but they HAD changed when displaying the GUI!! We then couldn't load the firewall policy from Panorama to the 4050s - it Failed with a message about the "storage-partition". Tried rebooting the Panorama - with no resolution - had to reload an old config before I had strated changing the quota settings.

We need to be able to change the log quotas to fit our needs - any advice anyone?

Hi,

What PANOS version are you running on Panorama?

Regards,

Renato

Hi - we are running v4.0.5 on both the Panorama and the 4050s. Thanks

Go to Panorama Tab -> Storage Partition setup -> Change to NFS Hit OK -> Go back into Storage Partition Setup and switch back to Internal -> Hit OK.

Try the commit again.

Hi - Sorry about the lenght of time to reply. I've tried that this evening and it's worked fine now! Many thanks.

As always, our pleasure!
