Hi All,
I am preparing for PCNSE7 exam and it is very much required to have hands on experience to pass the exam. Hence, I set up own LAB and I have installed Palo Alto image on top of VMWare Workstation.
Most of the features are funtioning properly. But I need to test some features like URL Filtering, Spyware Protection and anylyze logs etc.
Is there any way to obtain a evaluation license for shorter period of time ?
Cheers
Harsha

Hi,
Never done it but worth asking. Send and email to sales support team on Palo or your local partner/distributor and kindly ask for one. Trial VM licenses differently exist and they are usually for 30 days.
Thx,

In my experience, Palo Alto Networks are the only people who can activate a VM evaluation license for you. They have to do some things with there licenses servers in order for you to get a valid Auth Code.
Email your reseller or the PANW sales team to see if they will be willing to help you with that.

Even l do like AWS never tried running PA there. Anyway good to know (hourly rate will apply for the VM, right?)

Sure it doesn't matter with licences or not, AWS charge your per hour per VM
