Global Protect Portal or Gateway changing user-id format when forwarding to RADIUS

L2 Linker

Here you are the scenario:

- PA-500 running PANOS 4.1.7 and acting both as GP Portal and Gateway

- authentication request is forwarded to a Cisco ACS RADIUS server, i.e. PA-500 is its RADIUS client

- RAS login is the full mail address of the users, e.g. surname@acme.com, since credentials are integrated in our Domino LDAP environment

According to ACS log, when users enter their credentials (i.e. user-id = surname@acme.com, password = whatever) for authenticating with GP, PA-500 forwards the user-id in a different format, Microsoft-style acme.com\surname; since ACS users are configured in mail format, there is no match and the authentication session is rejected.

Is there any parameter that makes PAN forward login just as it is entered, in a mail-style?

Thanks and Regards,

Bucche
