GlobalConnect disables Welcome Screen

Hello,
We updated to 4.1 last nigth and got GlobalConnect with our SSLVPN but now any machine with the client (mostly all personal user equipment) disables the Welcome Screen in Windows XP and 7. Is there any way to prevent this?
Beyond that, it seems to be working fine; we'll just have to update our documentation for the VERY different look and feel.
