High BW usage

L0 Member

Hi,

We are using Palo 3020 in our setup & are struggling with high BW utilization during certain period of times in our network. We are suspecting few users bypassing the policies & misusing internet during these periods.

Please advise if there is any report in Palo which can help us identify the user/s consuming maximum BW utilization during these periods.

the first place to look would be the ACC (Application Command Center) as it will be able to show you which applications are using the most resources and allow you to drill down into the details

thanks Reaper,

I tried this, but it gives past performance with a minimum of 15 minutes time. What I need is the real time report of usage, one way is to capture the traffic & then identify the same, but I am sure there should be some better way of this.

well, one way to see live bandwith usage for a specific application is to enable QoS on an interface (no need for QoS policy) and look at the statistics:
