Import portions of a expedition output to a Panorama Template

L1 Bithead

Hello,

I'm working on a migration from ASA to Palo Alto.

ASA FWSM to VSYS on 5050

I only want to copy over the following:

Routes

NAT rules

Access rules

Is there a way to import just this data into the panorama template?

Hello

No problem at all, load config partial is your friend:)

Could you walk me through it. I saw the documentation it didn't seem all that clear.

Maybe some high level steps:

1. Export config from expedition

2. Import to where in panorama

3. how to get the partial configuration and where and how you point it to the template you want.

Have you done it before?

Thanks,

Yeah, many times.

XML should be imported to Panorama or FW like  normal configuration file, only imported, do not load it.

Cheat sheet with examples:

That's a great cheat sheet. I will work on this.

Thanks,
