I would like to do a static 1:1 NAT through a VLAN interface to two Cisco routers for redundancy.
The Cisco routers will be running VRRP to provide a virtual IP address to the PA firewall. The PA will be connected to both routers through a different physical interface.
My assumption is that I can put the 2 PA physical interfaces into a common VLAN, NAT through the logical interface instead of the physcial one and the NAT connection will have a next hop of the VRRP IP. This will then send any natted packets to whatever router is currently acting as the VRRP master and has the master address.
Can anyone confirm that my assumptions are correct and this will work?
