PA-500 Noise Issue

L0 Member

Hello,

We have PA-500 Firewall and it is making a lot of Noise but the Indicator is showing Green.

Can anyone suggest what could be the issue and how can it be resolved.

Also, i am not able to find any Pala Alto Support here in Dubai where I can get the same checked.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi @NITISH2003 ,

You can not control the fan speed on a PA-500. Does the system environmentals output tell you anything useful ?

The fan speed of the PA-500 is not dynamic, so the sensor only reports if the fan is spinning or not.

If the fans are making an unusual sound or is unusually loud, I would recommend contacting TAC as it could need to be replaced.
