rename a subinterface

Hello,

I need to know if it's possible to rename a subinterface, I see that is not available this field to be changed, then I need to know how should be the process to do that. thanks!!!!

by renaming a sub-interface, do you mean changing the interface ID?

I do not believe it is possible to change it. You will have to delete the sub-interface and create it again with new interface ID. Technically, the interface ID does not have to match Vlan ID (Tag), however it looks ugly to have mismatch between them.

It should be possible by exporting the config, then editing the xml to replace all instances of the interface name and then importing and committing the modified config.
