Hello,
We would like our users to access specific web financial links like the following:
http://twitter.com/bankingnewsgr/statuses/143682349031358464
http://twitter.com/bankingnewsgr/statuses/143672494010806274
The pages cannot be accessed since we are blocking the 'social networking' category. Is there a way that we can allow only the above links? We tried to add to the allow list the string 'twitter.com/bankingnewsgr' but the pages are blocked.
What is the correct syntax for the allo list?

Have you try creating a custom URL category and add these URLs into the custom category? Then set the action=alert (or allow) for this category in your URL profiles.
