URL filtering does not work with Firefox

L1 Bithead

I am applying URL Filtering but I notice that with chronium type browsers it applies the blocking, making tests I see that the filters are not being applied when you surf with Firefox.

You can even enter XXX pages.

What's wrong?

I am bringing user groups from AD.

Hi @Alcs_altamirano ,

How is the firewall identifying the traffic (if at all) ?

When sailing with chrome it blocks the traffic.

If I do, Firefox won't allow it.

Hi @Alcs_altamirano ,

That doesn't really answer my question.

How is the firewall identifying the traffic when using ff ?

When using ff, What is the category you see in the logs ? What is the URL you see in the logs ?

Cheers,

-Kiwi.
