Currently testing out ZTP. I got the firewall added to Panorama with ZTP and that is all well and good. On this article though:
Register Panorama with the ZTP Service for New Deployments (paloaltonetworks.com)
There is a big warning on Step 8 saying don't modify few items. That kind of sucks. I was hoping to use Eth1/1 a little differently what the standard ZTP does.
I wanted to ask if I knew what I was doing and understood what Eth1/1 and loopback.900 were doing and what they needed, could I change their Zones, security rules, and NATs to fit how I would like the firewall? Can I be sure that a future update to the ZTP Plugin in Panorama isn't going to mess me up? It looks like when I create the Device Group and Templates via the plug it's just putting it's boiler plate configuration and then it remains largely disconnected from the plugin.
Thanks for taking a look.
