Global Protect Client causing Windows 10 black login and logout screen

I have installed GP client 6.1.1 and also tried 6.2.1 on several Dell Windows 10  machines with pre-login enabled.

 

I am having an issue as. When the user logs in to Windows they get a black screen for up to 5 mins before Windows explorer actually launches their desktop. Same on logout. I cant seem to figure it out! Seen various things similar but not quite the same. I am currently testing Crowdstrike and SSO option in the Agent config but no success so far. If anyone has had the same I would greatly appreciate any feedback!

We're running GP 6.2.6, and get the same problem.
Did you somehow find the origin of the issue you get ?

Hi. Just heading out of Office. Yes i did and it took ages. Very odd in the end. It turned out that the Gateway / portal were using SSL to connect rather than IpSec (or the other way around - it was ages ago!) but I think that is right. Change it to the other protocol and no more black screens. 3 weeks of pain!
