We're not sure when this started but recently when users are on Global Protect they are prompted to enter a username and password when connecting to a shared drive on a file server. There is a policy that allows access to port 445 to the server for the users group. A test group that has no policies applied there are no issues.
From the logs it shows that the connection is allowed, but it seems like server to server communication or what is needed to be passed from the client to the server to validate folder access is not getting passed to the server. I can provide more information but just curious if this sounds familiar to anyone.

Hi @Donald_Beck ,
Sounds like there might be an issue between the GP and the DCs. When users are connecting to the share, are they connecting via IP or fqdn? On GP clients are you able to resolve the DCs? I would double check routing and security policies between GP client net and DCs.
