Stuck in - Server rebooting - please wait while the server reboots

L0 Member

pa440_serverrebooting.pngI have a PA440 running PanOS 10.1.3, it seems to be processing traffic normally, but I cannot reach the GUI, it seems stuck at this loading page. The external interface is pinging just fine. I have CLI access, what command lines can I run to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve this issue? I'd like to not reboot this device, but if I must then I will.

Hello,

I would try just rebooting the web server, if not resolved, then rebooting the management plane.

Reboot web-server: debug software restart process web-server

Reboot management plane: debug software restart process management-server

How to Restart the Management server "mgmtsrvr" Process (paloaltonetworks.com)

Hi!

Thanks for your suggestions, i tried these commands and they worked a couple of times, but the GUI became super sluggish and slow.

I actually ended up needing to RMA the firewall, eventually, i couldn't even login via CLI because as soon as i entered my username/pw, the firewall would start spamming this output.

I will keep these commands saved in case this ever happens again.
