We updated our Panorama and Firewalls to the 11.2.5 version to remediate a CVE and have been waiting and waiting for a preferred version but they have not released a preferred version that we can upgrade to. Does anyone know if and when there will be a preferred version that we could upgrade too?

The preferred version is reviewed regularly.
You simply have to monitor regularly for any change.
Also, you can check https://security.paloaltonetworks.com/ for other releases (hotfix) with the fix.

There has been no preferred release on the 11.2 code train since the 11.2.4-h7 version which was released in April of 2025. 11.2 adoption is only at 6%. So these "preferred" releases are anything but regular in 11.2 at least.

When can we expect a Preferred Release higher than PAN-OS 11.2.6? We are ready to upgrade but have not seen a new preferred maintenance release since April, and recent updates have been unstable.
