Why aren’t there any Incidents reported for my policy?
Policies must be enabled before any action can take place. This is a situation that occurs fairly often:
A need is identified by monitoring assets as they are discovered.
A policy is created to fill that need.
Then nothing happens.
Occasionally, we find that the policy simply wasn’t enabled. Once the policy is enabled, new assets will be matched against that policy. For previous assets to match against the policy, a rescan will need to be initiated on the affected cloud apps.
