Dear valued Palo Alto Networks customers,
If you are using a static username and password to log in to Aperture, please read the following update carefully:
As of August 24th, 2017, to further strengthen your security posture, Aperture now supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all administrator log-ins. This enables you to add an additional layer of security by enabling MFA for all administrators.
As a security best practice, we strongly encourage your organization to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) or SAML single sign-on (SSO) for Aperture. To learn more about MFA for Aperture, review the updated Aperture New Features Guide; for configuration information, refer to the Aperture Administrator’s Guide.
Should you have any questions about this notification or need assistance with your Aperture account, please don’t hesitate to contact the Palo Alto Networks Support Team at support.paloaltonetworks.com and a team member will assist you.
Thank you,
The Palo Alto Networks Support Team
