I am totally new to Palo Alto. I had a question about connecting the over our existing infrastructure. The firewalls are located in two separate buildings that have multi-mode fiber between. We'll have a QSFP-40GBase-SR4 plugged into the firewall then the MPO fiber patch cable. We were thinking about getting the MPO to SC cassette adaptor below to bridge the ends over the multi-mode fiber. Does anyone have a similar setup? Any input would be appreciated.
Layout of proposed fiber conntection:
PA-5220 HSCI --> QSFP-40GBase-SR4 --> MPO fiber patch --> MPO to SC --> multi-mode between buildings <-- SC to MPO <-- MPO fiber patch <-- QSFP-40GBase-SR4 <-- PA-5220 HSCI
