I am getting hits on this threat, categorized as Spyware, but as far as I can see it is a legitimate client VPN product. Why is this being classed as malicious or is it mis-classified?

I'm actually dealing with this right now. And not sure why there are so many requests going back out to google.com domain. For whatever reason we get DDOS alerts from our ISP DDOS protection system and shortly after all searching from google or getting to google goes down.
