As you can see from the log details, the session start time was at 10:42 and you have the log option set to log at session end (Type: end), log generated time: 12:09. So as pointed out by Anon, these might be the old sessions which timed out much later and a log was generated at session end. Thanks, Aditi

Yes, good idea... I'll try it. But it would be great that PA could track routes for dynamic routing; PBF is very useful, but not enough for this kind of scenarios.

We are using PRTG for long term monitoring cpu, bandwidth, sessions etc. of our PA boxes. I can highly recommend PRTG very easy to setup and use also for netflow data exports and all kind of other stuff including xml API to talk to PA. Roland

Hi the DNS proxy doesn't intercept DNS queries but functions as a proxy: clients will need to be configured to use the PA's interface as a proxy server so they forward their DNS queries to the PA. The PA can then be configured to resolve certain URL's to a specific IP or forward these to an internal DNS server and forward all the other requests on to an internet DNS (or to an internal one). If you want to be able to intercept DNS queries to unknown DNS servers you may want to try setting up a NAT rule that forwards all udp 53 traffic to an internal destination (or the DNS proxy IP) if they are sourced from the specific vlan. regards Tom
