Hi Jdelio, Thanks for the reply. I did paste 200 lines without any issue. " set cli scripting-mode on" makes easy. Thanks palo/dev team for developing this command. I don't have permission to access https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/featured-articles/dotw-loading-a-full-configuration-through-the-cli/ta-p/67261 If we know the limitation for set cli scripting-mode on that would be great.

Hi All, Is there any specific restriction to use commands or lines in scripting mode (set cli scripting-mode on)? The restriction, I means, how many set or delete lines/commands I can use. Not sure what's the buffer or bus size to handle if I paste 200 lines at the same time, would it crash? Device - PA 5250 Os version - 9.0.9-h1 Thank you.

Hi, Do we need a security policy, once the PBR configured in the firewall? OR FW just forward the packet to the Egress interface and not look for the security policy. Thanks.

Thanks, SteveCantwell. I have managed to complete the task through cli using PAN01> set cli config-output-format set. I did very similarly what you mentioned (show | match "object that I want to delete" -> copy output into the text (I used visual studio code to adjust the object that I want -> removed set and added delete in the text -> copied it -> paste into the panorama -> went to the GUI -> previewed the changes -> committed 🙂 I used one more cmd - "run set cli scripting-mode on" to avoid any copy and paste errors I will try with xml when I get a chance. Hi SteveCantwell, Thanks for the reply. Sorry, my writing is a bit confusing and I should mention in my post i.e. - the device is managed by Panorama. Yes, you are right if I delete an object from the group, It will delete from the 130+ policies and that is what I want because an object is not required any more due to server decom. Currently, the object which I want to delete is configured in both - group and policies. To delete an object from the group is easy but to delete an object from 130+ policies is a bit time-consuming. Because I need to manually go to all 130+ policies and delete the object. I am looking for the ways - To NOT go to manually 130+ policies -> find the object that I want to delete and complete the job. As @ Dmifsud mentioned, export xml config is one way but since it is managed by panorama I am not sure how it would work. Thank you once again for the response.

Hi All, An object (IP address: 192.168.1.2 as an example) configured in the PA firewall and assigned it to 50+ security policies as a source/destination address. Now, I want another object (IP address: 192.168.1.5) assign into the same 50+ security policies as IP 192.168.1.2. What's the fastest way to do it? I can manually do it by going in each policy that IP 192.168.1.2 configured with and add new object IP 192.168.1.5 there but it's really time-consuming as I need to do it for 50 policies. So just checking if anyone knows the fastest way to do it? Thank you.

Hi All, There was a problem with certificate. They have not changed the certificate when moving the site from staging environment to production. The action for financial services is allowed. So I can say that even if the Palo classifies the URL as a high risk but allow explicitly it works. Thanks for your time.

Hi OwenFuller, So if Palo classifies the URL as HIgh Risk that could be also blocked, is that right? I think this could be a browser own check as Mayuer said, however, I would like to know what happens until PAN-DB completes a site analysis and categorization of the site. Is this blocking even though we put the URL under the alert category? I will check today the browser setting and allow URL as trust. Thanks,

Hi, I have configured the URLs to allow through the firewall with an alert category. The firewall is allowing the URL but user get the "warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead" page with Go Back (recommended) and Advanced option. Is there any technique to allow user directly go onto the URL page instead go to advanced and continue to the website? I have also sent a reclassification request to Palo Alto. It takes 48 hours based on the Palo documentation. I think this is not an issue here. Might be user need to change settings on to their web browser!! Thanks for your support. Regards, CP

Hi BatD, Regards to dynamic content update, is there any limitation to run on OS? Example: current Apps + Threats latest version requires minimum 7.1.0 OS version. Can current Apps+Threats version installed on 6.1.0 version? OR it has to be minimum supported version specify in release notes.
