I am currently running GP 5.2.7 on a PA-3220 on 9.1.12-h3 and 99% of the time it is fine. I have an issue with a few of my developers with SQL Server Management Studio dropping connection.....but only SSMS. Was going to try newer versions of 5.2.x and see if that helps them out - just installing manually opposed to pushing through the firewall.   The issue I have is when I went from 5.2.2 to 5.2.7 the users would get a notification in Windows 10 that the application was updating in the background, but never did. It generated a lot of tickets and trying to avoid that next time.   I am doing split-tunnel for both network traffic and DNS. Changed Upgrade option from Allow with Prompt to Allow Transparently. Getting users complaining about frequent disconnects when the use SQL Server Management Studio over Global Protect....but when they are connected with the old school Windows PPTP VPN, it never drops. Not only that, they say it is faster. My GP policy is pretty open and not seeing any drops in the logs. Since it works with Windows VPN and gives me issues with GP, I'm pretty sure it is GP. Curious if there is something that might be causing timeouts or something like that regarding SSMS or connections to tcp 1433. Appears limited to only SSMS.....nothing else seems to be an issue. ... Looking for the App-ID(s) that would be necessary for traffic between my on-premises Exchange 2016 management server and Microsoft's server. This is really only for moving mailboxes to the cloud. May only just be SSL traffic as that is all I really see in the monitor.  ... View more

Trying to set it so when users open their web browser and no matter what they go they are redirected to an intranet site for the first web request of the day. Same thing as a captive portal at a hotel, coffee shop, etc. Want it to redirect to http://intranet.company.com/ just once.   Hoping the splash page could come up and just require an accept opposed to a login or something like that. As soon as the user clicks Accept, bounces to http://intranet.company.com/. Accepting this happens every 8 hours or so. Hoping it would be IP dependent so if the user switches browsers, no new splash page.   It is a mix of Windows, Mac, and many different browsers, so trying to do something on the network level opposed to the machine level.   Have a PA-3220 and a PA-820 in different sites both running 8.1.3. ...
