Hi all, I have an upcoming deployment and I need your inputs here. I will be replacing a fire that is configured in HA Pair with a PA-3220 non HA pair. The core switch of the client is configured as a active-passive (NX-OS). My concern is, can I enable LACP on Palo Alto side and make it a routed interface and assign IP to it and on the nexus side they will configure a VPC, make it a L3 and configured an IP on it so on the Palo Alto side, it appears only as 1 appliance? Your inputs are highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Hi All, I have a question. Can we deploy a GlobalProtect (Gateway and Portal) on Strata Firewall via DHCP Public IP? I am familiar with configuration via public static IP. But on dynamic public IP, what if the ISP Leased you a brand new IP? What will be the behavior of it on the Strata firewall and the end users? Best Regards, Victor

Hi All, Just a typical questions. We all know that Prisma Access established connection via IP Sec VPN Tunnel on remote networks. In regards with this, we need the Public IP Address of the Prisma Access in order for the remote side to successfully established the VPN Tunnel from on-premise firewall to prisma access. Is there any reason why Palo Alto limit the 4 path for ECMP? Configuring Another VR would mean that traffic should be routed to the new VR for specific applications. I am also considering to our client to configure a PBF to the new ISP just to override the default routing table for specific apps.

Hi All, I need your inputs here. I have a client using ECMP (4 Links.) and they recently procured another ISP making it 5. Based on the documentation of Palo Alto Networks, the max ECMP is 4. Is there any other work around to make ECMP 5 or utilize the 5th ISP?

I try the units on my sub-interfaces instead of aggregate interface and it works. I change the sub-interface interface management profile. I hope this will work tomorrow on our clients production networks. Will update once it works

They access the firewall via management interface but they only restrict it to one pc, unfortunately they forgot the password to that machine and can't login that's the only pc they use to access the firewall management interface. I will try this tomorrow. I try to do a sub-interface on my virtual lab and it seems that I can't also see the sub-interfaces on the CLI when I try to apply an interface management profile

Hi All, I have a customer that looses it's access to the Web GUI of the PAN Firewall except console connection. Aggregate Interface is configured. Can I assign an interface management profile via CLI on the aggregate interfaces? E.g. ae1.100? When i type set network interface aggregate-ethernet and hit the "?" I can't see tha aggregate interfaces configured except ae1. I want to configured an interface management profile and assigned it to ae1.100 but on the cli it does not show except the ae1.
