I have 2 domain controllers: one is a 2003 server 32 bit, the other is an exchange server 2003 64 bit. I've updated my PA 500 from 5.0.7 to 6.0.9 Now I'm experiencing an authentication issue on the 2003 server 32 bit. On user identification, user mapping I'm getting this error: I've checked documentation, especially this guide: https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-4332 Checking for the error, I've found out: https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-5404 I'm in case 3: Also, if the error "NT_STATUS_NET_WRITE_FAULT" appears in the log entries, this indicates a that special character is used in the password of the service account. This password needs to be reset. So I've changed the password. Once again, no problems with exchange 64 bit but "Access denied" with the 2003 domain controller. I've also found out: http://community.zenoss.org/docs/DOC-2520 In my server logs there is also the same uuid: uuid 4d9f4ab8-7d1c-11cf-861e-0020af6e7c57 So something strange is up here. Ok panos, I've found out that it is a problem of URL filtering. What I really can't get is why if I have google enabled in "search engined" category, to see the results (and note, not only, the ones coming after some pages) I've also to enable the category "content-delivery-networks"... That's totally crazy...

Dear all, I'm writing to ask a question about the image that I'm showing you. My user can see only a part of the images when he search for that. This is the result of a search with google images: I've read this thread: https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-3328 But, in the end, the problem that I've is slightly different: I can see something up to the first 3 or 4 rows, but nothing more. I'm experiencing an issue with a connection to an external voip server. Directly attached to a PA-500 ethernet port there is a patton (fxo voip appliance). Now, I'm allowing any traffic to outside, any application. When I surf from that interface I can access external sites, but the issue seems to be NAT. Voip uses port 5060 udp. I can see the packets reaching the external server (that I manage) and they are forwarded back, but on the PA they are not present. I tried different NAT types, but none of them seems to be working properly. Does anyone experienced the same issue? Does anyone know how to solve the problem of udp coming back to the internal interface of the firewall? Thanks to all of you, Pietro

I've found the issue. The cache of the routing table didn't seem to work properly. I've rebooted the device and now it works like a charme. TOmorrow morning I'll post here the configuration for the natting with virtual router. Thank to you all, Pietro

I've just changed my internet connection to a new one. Now I've reconfigured everything with the new address. The issue is that I can surf the web from inside to outside but the NAT to my internal server is someway blocked. What I can see in logs is: I really don't know how to solve this issue. The routing table is correct, but it seems that something is going wrong. If I add a rule in security saying to pass everything nothing happens, but the error changes to "incomplete". Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot. Pietro
