I am testing out a firewall migration to Panorama with our lab firewall and found that, with the Services objects that I imported from the firewall, I am not able to edit them. I see that their location is "Predefined", and I can't change that location either. I know you are typically able to select an object and then select "Move" to move them to Shared, but that option is grayed out. I am, however, able to clone the objects and create the clone as a Shared object.   Does anyone know why these objects have a location of "Predefined" and why I can't edit them?   Thanks! ... I know that when you migrate a firewall into Panorama and you keep the Import device's shared objects into Panorama's shared context box checked, this imports the firewall's objects as shared objects, unless there are duplicates. I'm wondering--how does Panorama identify any duplicates? Is it by the name of the object or other characteristics (such as the IP address itself)?   For example: If I have an Address Object on one firewall called "Server-DNS" with IP 8.8.8.8 and an Address Object on a different firewall called "DNS-Server" with the same IP 8.8.8.8, will it identify that as a duplicate? I'm assuming not, since you are able to have multiple Address Objects with the same IP, but would like to verify.   Thanks! ... View more

We are working on configuring Panorama and currently already have 3 firewall HA pairs. We have 4000+ address objects in one of our firewall pairs. Is there a way to import these into Panorama to then push to the other 2 firewall pairs post integration? It would be great to not have to add 4000 address objects to the other two firewalls. ...
