Hello BPry, Thanks for your suggestions , I just may have to reformat my computer to get rid of this annoying program. I have deleted all I can from it and it still says in it use! Not sure how it can still be working but at least it’s not popping up every time I turn on my machine.

I am sorry if I was vague in my initial question. It is a simple request. I just want to delete Global protect in its entirety from my Mac. It will not allow me as the program is always open and I do not know how to close it. I do not have login or password access any longer to the program.

The original question was not answered. Is there a way to disable the automatic start up. I would like to know this as well, so I can delete the program. As a novice computer user who had this program installed by my ex- office to work from home ( I am now retired) I would like to delete the Global Protect program as I now longer need it. I am removing a number of redundant files and program to allow my machine to perform better.
