Hi all, I am on site now with client and i had some problem in deploying the PA-500, please i need your help: I have configured PA-500 in Virtual-wire mode in a lan2lan liason between the two client sites and set the rule to allow any any. but when we try to test with phones to enregister from the callmanager server it's failed so i searched and i taught it's a vlan issue so instead of configuring default in Vwire tag allowed i set 0-4094. and still have the same problem. please note that also we tried to ping some IP addresses from the client distant site and they failed. please any ideas about this issue. thanks in advance.

Hi panos and Netwerx I had the same problem now i'm on site and I try to deploy PA-500 in mode virtual wire, but i have done some test with voip phones and all phones are not enable to register, i'm wondering what's the problem. firstly i taught it's a vlan issue so instead of configuring default in Vwire tag allowed i set 0-4094. and still have the same problem. for the security rule I set allow any any. please any ideas about this issue. Hi Phoenix : thanks for your reply, My concern is about those public signing authorities can you please give me an exemple are they generating signed certificat for free? other thing if i get a signed certificat have I need to add manualy this certificat to all browser or it will be recognazed by the browser and then there will be no need to add it like in the case of self-signed certificat? Hi All, I tried to generate a self-signed certificate for tests needs and I noticed that we must add a certificate at all existings browsers on all network station, I wonder how I can remedy to this problem in production envirement, as you can see the use of this type of certificate is not quite effective since we will have to ask all visitors and network users to add this certificate in order to solve the problem of certificate uncompatibility . Hi hparikh thank you for your reply. in my understing in this screen shoots you have configured QoS for youtube to guaranty a bandwith of 1Mbps and to limit it to 2Mbps and for each youtube session guaranted debit is 0,25Mbps and max is 0,5Mbps. so in case we have many users that are accessing youtube we will hit 2Mbps if we add the guaranted 0,25Mbps for each sessoin in these case what will be the reaction of the firewall Knowing that we guaranted for each session 0,25Mbps? thanks,

Hi dreputi : thank you for your reply, Please can you please tell me if the max debit that we allow for the application is shared between the users fairly or is'it the first one that demand it who have the bandwith, for exemple if someone alreday started a conversation in skype and another user want to establish a conversation in this case the bandwith will be shared between those users fairly or it's the first one who will get the bandwith that he need and the second one will need to wait until the bandwith is freed. thank you
