Hi Everyone - I have a10x Firewall that runs SAAS reports fine when run locally. However when I use a scheduler, I get and email with NO REPORT and only the following in the email message: Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Has anyone else seen this? There is no "log view" option to check for SAAS. Any ideas..or places to look ? regards Don

Further information: redist profile has src: BGP detination 0.0.0.0/0 redist in the export it says redistribute default route I've found multiple docs that provide some conflicting info. 1 said NOT to use 0.0.0.0/0, and to only have the redistribute default route . The other said to create a no-redist rule for the specific networks then have the redist rule to probvide the default route wiht 0.0.0.0./0 specified. When we turned up BGP in the Palo with ExpressRoute, we started to receive 4 subnets from Microsoft. The customer found that these subnets are being leaked into the Extreme Fabric through the OSPF adjacency to the Palo’s, where only Default route should be sent from the Palo to the Extreme. Not sure why this is happening, since it looks like there is a policy that should only send default route. I have a case open, but am posting here due to long wait times. Cheers- Don

Hi folks- My customer is running v10.0.1. In Setting up User-ID, we cannot locate the "user-id-agent" tab. Nor is it an option in the CLI . I could create a user-id-agent on my v9 lab box, but not on V10… Im guessing a v10 bug ??? I have a case open... any ideas ?

I am also hanging..
I upgraded the ubunto per cli prompting...then did the upgrade..
expedition-beta is already the newest version (1.0.107).
Still hangin on log in to WebUI
I have verified the ini settings are correct..
Any direction woudl be apprecited. Perhaps a system level debug ??

Actually, the serial # doesnt show , nor does it show in the actual firewall. I did supply the TOK file to support and that didnt seem to help. Is it supposed to show up in the "Realesed VM Auth codes" section ? I'm really confused at why thsi isnt; documented anywhere. Usually Palo has great docs. regards, Don

Hello everyone, Has anyone actually used the "Deactivate License" feature to unlicense a vm and then license another vm? My goal was to move licenses from a v7 vm100 to a v8 vm100 on new hardware. I successfully deactivated the license on one of my 6 VM-100's. It seemed to work, the serial # etc was removed from the single vm. Now that it is gone, how to I reuse the removed license/features on the new firewall. I have searched for several days and even opended a case, but to no avail. Any suggestions woudl be greatly appreciated ... regards, Don

Just to add- I have no issues unitl I use L3 Subinterfaces. I have verified the tags are set, the MAC is set and still not passing traffic. So I wonder, aside from the tag, if there are L3 Subinterface related settings wemight be missing? Cheers- Don
