Thanks for the suggestion, I think I am one step closer. The /debug doesn't seem to help at first. But when I try to log in by IP-adres rather then the DNS name it does seem to work. I don't seem to get any additional information though. We used to be able to login with the DNS name before. So I don't understand what's wrong now.

Hello, We're experiencing an issue with Internet Explorer 9 after upgrading to PANos 5.0 After we login into the firewall we don't get to see anything. The screen remains white after the login. We have also tested it with Firefox 16 and Chrome but we don't have any issues with those browsers. Resetting, uninstalling and reinstalling IE9 does not seem to help. Does anyone know what's happening?

Hello, Two months ago we correctly set up a rule to block Brute Force attacks on our FTP server in DMZ. The related information can be found here: https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/message/16977#16977 We tested it manually by just entering wrong passwords quickly for the FTP server and after 10 attempts we were blocked from our own FTP server. The config seemed to be working. Last week had a real brute force attack on our FTP server in DMZ. A total of 302 attempts were made in 13 seconds before it was blocked. According to the documentation I've read it should be blocked after 10 attempts. I can't find out why it was only blocked after 302 attempts and after 13 seconds. If anyone could tell me why this happens I would very much appriciate it. Thanks in advance, Hans.

Hello, I want to block Block FTP Brute Force Attemps. The default rule in the PA alert only in theThreat log. I added a new Vulnerabolity Protection Rule: Action: Block Host type: Any (also tried Server) Category: brute-force Severity: Any CVE: Any Vendor ID: Any I placed the rule above al the default rules (see attachment). If I simulate a ftp brute force attack I only see a alert message in the Threat log. thanks in advance for your reply, Hans

Hello, I 've just started working with a PA-500 . I miss the ability to block Syncplicity . Do I missing something ? Or is it not supported? Thank you in advance , Hans

Hi, We are relatively new to Palo Alto appliances, but are wondering if we can block Google Drive already? We did some searching in the application objects database + on this forum, but we cannot find it for now... Is google drive available yet for scanning/filtering? Or how long does it normally take for P.A. for this app to be added to the available applications (groups/categories)? thanks in advance.
