Hi All, Noticed unable to ping packet size above 996 after upgrading to PAN OS 5. few of our internet apps(cloud) is acting intermittently Anyone encountering the same issue? Any advice is appreciated? Thanks.. FW1 work perfectly ok, issue only arise when failover to the FW2. Both are running the same config/path/routes... How would it be a routing issue?

Did anyone encounter such issue? We noticed that whenever the firewall triggered a failover (FW1 to FW2). external services seem to be disrupted. eg1 :Gomes monitoring informed of connection/performance issues (though we test from some countries to be ok) eg 2: FTP services from various country reported connection problem (China, Taiwan) But when we revert back to the FW from 2 to 1(Origin) all services return back to norm. Hi All, I'm working to configure the PAN (4.1.2) DHCP, hopefully to replace the legacy DHCP server for the LAN. My LAN consist of both data and voice on few vlans. I would require to insert the dhcp option code of 176 & 242 for the ip phones. But doesnt seem able to find the function on PAN. Please advice if such option is available (future?) or best way to utilize the PAN DHCP in such environment. Thanks, Anthony

Hi All, I'm working to configure the PAN (4.1.2) DNS proxy, hopefully to replace the legacy slave dns server. But the adminsitrative guide is good enough to understand to configure it. I'm having hard time getting it to work as desire. Would I able to forward DNS queries to other both external(Internet) and Internal DNS servers on domain? Please advice, Thanks, TKM
