@hbshinright. Looking at the logs again, it looks like there was no actual upload to the WF cloud taking place. Threatvault is saying that there is both a Wildfire and AV signature that has been released since last year. Looking at the 3rd line of the logs, it looks like it matched against the WF signature. 2nd line then matches the AV signature which triggers the reset-both.

Looks like there is a hard limit of 209,715,200 bytes = 210 Mb What file sizes are you seeing once the .pcap turn off? Also, one thing that may help is locking down the filters to a specific source/dest IP address and source/dest port.

Wildfire is for zero day attacks so it looks like there is not an existing verdict for this PE file at the time. Therefore, the firewall has to send the file to Wildfire servers for detonation and analysis. Subsequent logs show that Wildfire determined it to be malware and reseted the connection. Future detection of this same PE file should result in the same action taken, reset-both. Out of curiousity, is it possible to get a MD5 hash of this file?

Yes, it'll add both syslog servers, test1 and test2, assuming that this configuration pertains to syslog server profiles. Reason being is this type of configuration is not an overlapping configuration. You can actually preview the template stack of how the push would look via the Panorama. Screenshot taken from Panorama running PAN-OS 9.x "The Template at the top of the Stack has the highest priority in the presence of overlapping config" - Taken from the GUI, this statement applies ONLY to overlapping configuration (i.e. hostname, management IP address, interface IP addresses, etc)
