Hello ,   Can anyone help to identify users on  thinclinet machines(linux). These machines have same ip and mac-address and are recieved by a server. ISP Configuration in case of TATA (Useful for Indian Customers willing to configure an unmanaged TATA ILL)   ** This is useful in case you are not provided with a MUX or a ROUTER along with the Internet Link form the ISP**   If you are a customer willing to configure an unmanaged TATA ISP where you are provided with a LAN IP POOL and WAN IP POOL from the ISP end then follow the below steps as mentioned: Considerations: WAN IP AT THE CUSTOMER END: 1.1.1.1/30 WAN IP AT THE ISP END (This is the ISP Gateway): 1.1.1.2/30 LAN IP POOL GIVEN TO THE CUSTOMER BY THE ISP: 3.3.3.0/29   Configure as following: Configure the WAN interface with 1.1.1/30 as its IP address. Create two static routes: Route Name: TATA_WAN, Destination: 0.0.0.0/0, Interface: WAN Interface, Next Hop: 1.1.2/32, Metric: 10 Route Name: TATA_LAN, Destination: 3.3.1/32 (use any IP from the LAN Pool as the LAN Gateway), Interface: WAN interface, Next Hop: 1.1.1.2/32, Metric: 10. Create a source NAT for Internet access: Provide a useful name Select source zone as LAN Select Destination zone as WAN Interface as the WAN interface Source Translation, dynamic IP/port, Address type: Translated address: 3.3.2/32 Create a policy rule as required. BI- DIRECTINAL NAT IN PALO ALTO   Go to Policies > NAT > Add Create a NAT Rule: Name the rule as per your convivence. Select the source zone as LAN Destination zone as WAN Interface as the WAN (exit interface) Service as the preferred port. Source ip address as the internal LAN IP. Destination ip address as any. Now in translated packet, Select Static Ip in source translation and use the Public IP you wish to have. Make sure you enable bi-directional.   Go to Policies > Security > Add Create a Security Rule: Name the rule. Select Source as LAN and WAN Select Destination as WAN and LAN Source address as any Destination address as the public ip Commit the changes and test the rule.
