The device is not found or not registered, please try after some time

Firewall was rebuilt  few weeks ago.

 

just  noticed, as i wanted to changed the default Client version, i get the Above  error message

the device is licenced

yet the firewall is now missing from my "assets" in the portal,

 

i have tried to add the serial in the portal by registering a new device  but says the serial is invalid

I have raised a ticket, but not movement on this,

 

do i need to delete and build a new one?

looks like this serial was scrapped from the CSP, did someone decommission (via the "deactivate firewall" process) the VM?

 

if this is an 'oldschool' VM series, you may be able to reuse the auth code to activate a fresh VM (csp > assrts > vm series auth codes), if this is flex credits, the credits may have been reimbursed into your credits dashboard (CSP > assets > software ngfw credits)
