NEW FEATURES AND ENHANCEMENTS

 

  • Application risk assessment to determine the level of risk it introduces to the network. IoT Security retrieves application information from Applipedia and displays descriptions of the application, its major characteristics, and security information.
  • Bluetooth device coverage expansion: IoT Security finds and displays Bluetooth (BLE) device vendor information through Aruba WLAN controllers built-in integration.
  • Bi-directional integration with Nuvolo (a CMMS solution). In addition to sending device data, usage (for medical IoT devices), and security events to Nuvolo through built-in integration, IoT Security can now also retrieve the device inventory from Nuvolo. 
  • Two releases of the device dictionary files in December. With 56 new profiles, 18 new vendors, and 2 new categories (Unmanned Aircraft System and Smart Pet Products).
