Cybersecurity Academy announced its first university in Qatar: College of the North Atlantic-Qatar!  Regional media coverage so far includes 5 dailies (Gulf Times, Al Sharq, Al Arab, Al Raya, and Al Watan), and a few online portals. Over the last four months, the top 10 students from Universities across the country participated in a cybersecurity competition designed to address the challenges faced with how to make decisions regarding the protection of operational assets. The Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy and National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center (NICERC) presented a complete K-20 cyber education learning program for school districts and states at the annual nationwide NICERC Cyber Education Discovery Forum held in Broomfield, CO. Over 225 STEM and Cyber K-12 teachers from 30 states attended this year's conference to learn about free resources and programs to help improve cybersecurity awareness, career awareness, and skills for entry-level cyber jobs. This year, the Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy will be supporting all 10 regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competitions and the national competition through the in-kind donation of both our hardware and virtual firewall appliances.
