Hello VPN Enthusiasts,
Following the upgrade of our firewalls to PAN-OS 10.2.6, we've encountered authentication issues with GlobalProtect, specifically related to SAML.
While the SAML piece appears to be functioning correctly (SAML provider logs indicate success), the problem arises when the SAML redirects the client back to the portal address to complete the login. At this point, we encounter errors stating that the portal/gateway is either unavailable or not responding within the expected time frame. Packet captures reveal numerous retransmits to the portal.
Upon multiple connection attempts, the authentication eventually completes, but the intermittent nature of the issue is concerning.
Has anyone in the community faced similar issues with GlobalProtect on PAN-OS 10.2.6, particularly with SAML authentication? If so, your insights and experiences would be highly valuable.
