Cortex XDR agent does not send alerts if an event happen when computer is disconnected from network

L1 Bithead

Hi everyone,

If an event is triggered in a computer without connection, nothing is sent to the console when the computer recovers the connection.

My concern is how I will be alerted if something happens when a computer have no network.

I realized this by running "netsh advfirewall set allprofiles state off"

I received an alert immediately if the computer is online, but nothing if it is offline and connected to the network afterwards.

Is there any way to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Edgar.

Hello @Edgar_Lapuerta ,

Thanks for reaching out on LiveCommunity!

It shouldn't be like that. The agent has cache and if anything detected those event would be reported as agent connects to server.
Could you confirm when endpoint was not connected did in the agent tray there was activity and even? if yes then when endpoint is connected to internet those alerts and incident would be seen in console as well. If not happening then tac case to look into it.

It is  common behavior that theagent telemetry is sent out to console as it connects back to console.
