NGFW Engineer Certification Active in CertMetrics but No Verification ID, Certificate Download, or Credly Badge

Hello Everyone,

I passed the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall Engineer certification exam through Pearson VUE on 19 May 2026 and received the provisional pass notification after the exam.

A few days later, the certification became visible in my CertMetrics account and is showing as Active. However, I am facing the following issues:

  • No Verification ID is displayed for the certification.
  • I am unable to download the certificate from CertMetrics.
  • I have not received the Credly badge invitation.
    • It has been more than two weeks since I passed the exam.

I have already contacted Palo Alto Certification Support and eLearning Support regarding the issue. Additionally, my records appear to be associated with my former Palo Alto Networks employee email address, which I no longer have access to.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue, or can someone from the certification team advise on what might be causing the delay?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Hi @Wasimbhat ,

For assistance, please contact the Palo Alto Networks Certification team directly at certification@paloaltonetworks.com

When reaching out, I recommend including the following details to help them investigate faster:

  • Full name used for the exam
  • Pearson VUE candidate ID
  • CertMetrics account email
  • Previous Palo Alto Networks employee email associated with your records
  • Exam name and exam date: 19 May 2026
  • Screenshot showing the certification status as Active

They should be able to review your profile, confirm whether the certification is linked to the correct account, and assist with the certificate and Credly badge issuance.

Hope this helps!
