We need to scan our nexus repository with registry scanning rules, but we're getting error below :

failed to retrieve repositories info, request: &{Tag: Spec:<repository name>:<connector port>/*:* Type:1 ScanID:20039 RequestDoneFn:<nil> OnDemandScan:false NoDefenderRetries:0}. Error: Get "http://<repository name>:<port>/v2/_catalog": EOF

Hi Reza,

Was the registry scan working and then stopped?  Can you please confirm the following:

  • Your registry credential is correct
  •  In registry settings, make sure the registry url and repository name is specified  and the connector port is correct

If you're still seeing the error after checking on confirm the settings, please open support ticket to look further into this.

Hello,
According to the error message, the repository name value has not been populated properly.
It appears you have set the repository name to the string "<repository name>:<connector port>".
Please correct the repository name in your Registry Scan configuration .
