Palo Alto Expedition 1.2.46 logical router support?

L1 Bithead

Hello,

when are logical routers supported in the Palo Alto Expedition?

What is the best pratice migration at this moment? We have PA-5410 with software 10.2.3 and advanced routing enabled. Would it be better to turn off advanced routing, do the configuration migration and then turn advanced routing on again? I know logical routers are new and virtual routers will do the trick but I do not want to move from virtual routers to logical routers when we are 1 month or something in production.

yeah im curious about the same thing - we are migrating from CP with bgp route maps and pre fix lists - and i'd like to be able to import those lists and maps to a deployment with out having to manually recreate them. Expo 1.2.76 is unable to support this - im wondering also, if Expo beta 2 has this available? we are doing 11.0.x for the new deployment too.

life is too short to be a jerk.

Hello @cjthorse82 @dvanselst Expedition1 is not currently supporting logical-routers.

In Expedition2 we support them but not during migrations. So if you have a Panos config with LR we can read them but from migrations we only create Virtual Routers
