User is always getting access to API Key

L1 Bithead

I am inserting a user into "Prisma Cloud" through API (https://api.prismacloud.io/user) with the request body as,

var userDetails = {
"email": email,
"firstName": firstName,
"lastName": lastName,
"timeZone": "America/Los_Angeles",
"roleId": <role id of system admin>,
"accessKeysAllowed": false
};

This user has access to "Access Key" but I am passing parameter "accessKeysAllowed": false in the body.

Where I am doing wrong.

Hello @SRKhan007

System Admins by default get access keys allowed to them without an option to change it upon creation, similar to how it does so in the UI.

You are not doing anything wrong here.

We have a feature request to have that modifiable for system admins as well, but that's by design at the moment.

Users with other role types can have access key creation option as disabled.

Please elaborate more on your below point, We have a feature request to have that modifiable for system admins as well

This is not available yet and is a feature request.

Currently, System Admins by default have the option to create access keys and one cannot modify that.

Thank You
