Background:
In our XSOAR platform setup, the XSOAR server is cloud hosted by Palo Alto and the XSOAR engines are deployed at 2 different data centers (on-prem). Each of these datacenters will have a single Cortex XSOAR engine server installed, which will include, a. Production Engine b. Development Engine.
Both the XSOAR engines from different data centers will be operating in “Active mode” and will be part of a load-balancing group.
Question:
1. How to backup/restore XSOAR engine configurations and files ?
2. If one of the XSOAR engines fails, how do we restore the same XSOAR engine with the configuration that we configured during the XSOAR engine installation? (For example, steps performed on the XSOAR Server console to create engine : "Engine Name" , "Installer Type", "Obtain Engine Executable file" and after installation : "Add to load-balancing group")

Hi @gnakhede,
You only need to backup the d1.conf file located at /usr/local/demisto.
To restore an engine to the previous config, you can create a new engine and add the backed up config.
Refer - Step 2 - JSON formatted configuration -> https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/cortex/cortex-xsoar/6-9/cortex-xsoar-admin/engines/configure-engin...
You can also install engines in load balanced group to ensure that there is always connectivity to integration. Refer - https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/cortex/cortex-xsoar/6-9/cortex-xsoar-admin/engines/understand-demi...
