As a fast answer, yes.
Is it to remap interfaces, or why wouldn't you just place the config into the PA850 and let the firewall do the adaptations to the platform?

In addition to upgrading the firewall, we are migrating to a new ISP. We also thought that this would be a good opportunity to do some house-keeping on policies, objects, etc, and that using expedition would be the best approach.
There isn't an option for the 3000 series in Expedition, which is what prompted the question. So please explain how Expedition would ingest a 3020 configuration in light of this. Or does the device type not matter?
