Wondering if there is a best way to move the Expedition VM to another workstation. Currently have Expedition installed in VM Workstation on laptop but need to move to another laptop with VM Workstation.

No worries.
Simply copy the folder where your VM is stored and bring it into your new laptop.
Once you are requested whether you copied or moved the VM, set it as moved and later verify that the IPs assigned to the VM are still valid.
