When you upgrade Ubuntu to version 18, you break some dependencies and Expedition stop working. You should run it in Ubuntu 16.04

Could you provide some description?

Which version are you using, did you clean the session, have you refreshed the browser, etc.?

Yes, sir. I have cleared the sessions, I have refreshed the browser,.etc. I have also updated the OS Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS to 18.04.2 LTS.

Now, I see when I try to login, its waiting on to Authenticate and unable to login.

Authenticating...please wait.

Hi,

Thanks for the info, now it seems like I need to get back to the previous Ubuntu version 16.04. Can you provide me the process and I believe that should fix the issue. Appreciate your help.

There is no such process to roll-back to the prior OS version and downgrade as well all the applications and their settings to the supported in Expedition.

The only thing I could advise is to do a database backup (look for Mysql/MariaDB databases backup), and make a copy of the /home/userSpace folder.

Then, create a new instance of Expedition again and restore the /home/userSpace folder and recover the MariaDB databases.

This may get you back and running to an Expedition running on Ubuntu 16.04.
