Alerts in AIOPS Still Exists

L1 Bithead

Hi community,

I have a critical alert on CVE Vulnerability on our firewall. However, after performing the PANOS upgrade to the version that patched the CVE, the alert is still showing in AIOPS.

So, my questions are, shouldn't the alert disappear by itself after upgrading to the patched PANOS version? Is this a bug or it is an expected behavior? Is there anything else that I can do to fix this?

I'm not positive, but I think the alert will exist until you close/resolve it.  I could be wrong, but I don't think once the alert triggers it continually revalidates that the conditions that created the alert are still present.  Which would mean you'd need to close the alert manually.
