Captive portal reauth

Im using captive portal in Palo Alto and each 3-4 hours i receive this:

I need to reauth. Why is happening this? any timeout o cookie? where should i check?

Yes, i know. Value is 1440minutes (24 hours) and the issue happens each 3-4 hours. so not meake sense with that timeout.

@BigPalo -- You asked where you should check.  I shared with you where you should check.  You didn't mention in this thread that you already had this setting at 1440 minutes.  There's no direct reason for the reauth prior to the stated 1440 timeout.  Unless the entry was getting cleared through some other means with a lower timer.

 

I would look at your User-ID logs and look for the IP endpoint in question and see if/what us updating the known user of the endpoint.  There's also similar CLI commands you can use to find this information.  It seems like something might be resetting the IP/User mapping:
