In Panorama and the firewall device itself you can schedule download of App-ID updates from Internet (updates.paloaltonetworks.com).
In Panorama - Device Deployment - you can download App-ID updates manually and install them manually to selected devices. Found nothing there to schedule this.
Is it possible to configure that the firewall devices automatically download App-ID updates from Panorama which downloaded them from Internet? Firewall device itself has no access to Internet.

We have the same challange at a customer, and apperently there is no way to do this at the moment. We have solved it by giving the firewalls access to a proxy server, even if this is not the preferred solution.
Was told by our SE that there is a feature request on this.
